Cora's Baptism

Even though church was cancelled today we still had Cora's baptism since Bobbi, Karlen, Garrett, Chuck, Brenda, Cale and Maura were already here and the rest of the family was half way here we decicded to have a private little service for her. Everyone made safe and made it home ok. thank goodness. It was a very nice service and we are truly blessed to have such wonderful happy and healthy girls! Cora is almsot 10 weeks old and she weighed 11 lbs 12 oz and was 23 inches long at her Dr.'s appointment on Thursday! She is fat and happy. She has been sleeping through the night the past week 10 to 6 or 7!! very lucky mommy. Her right eye has a plugged tear duct and she has an infection so we just have to wait for it to open... the Dr. said they don't do anything until she turns a year old but I think in a month I may have to get a second opinion. What a special day.. Cora got to share her baptisme with the birth of Kyle Matthew!

Oh, Billi, what great pictures. FYI: Collin had a blocked tear duct that we had to massage everyday and put eyedrops in. (What a fight that was!) We did have to do that for about 2 months, though, then it finally stayed open and clear. Hope your family is all doing well! Merry Christmas!

El had a blocked tear duct, too. I was told it was pretty common. It sucked for a couple of months, but did go away on it's own.
Glad everyone made in there safely. I heard there were some snow storms up there.

I think that private ceremonies are the way to go anyway. There is no one there to see your 2 yr-old splashing the baptismal water or playing the cymbal! :)

Billi, you look great! The family picture towards the end is adorable. Kendal gets cuter and cuter, and so does Cora!

Congratulations on the baptism - It is hard to believe that Cora is getting so old. She is a little cutey! Kellen also had blocked tear ducts - he had them opened up at 15 months. He still looks like he is crying even though his eyes just like to water! Good luck - hopefully it will go away on its own!
