Happy Easter

We spent the first part of our Easter Break at the Wisconsin Dells. We had a great trip and good weather while we were there. There was a blizzard the day before we left with 6 inches of snow and blowing. Not what you expect for Easter.

I got to spend last Wednesday at school with Rogan for Mom's Day. It was one of the best days every! Rogan painted my nails and did a fantastic job. I think he may want to do this in the future! We had a great morning doing many projects and having a lot of one on one time!

Priceless!

March Madness

It has been a little crazy the last few weeks!..well not much different then any other time:) The girls had their last weekend of basketball at the YMCA last weekend. We played for 6 weeks and they got better every week! Now they are really into watching basketball on TV so that has been fun during March Madness! Rogan's favorite holiday is Easter so he is has been so excited!! We got to have our cousin Chloe to spend the night and she lost her 1st tooth at our house! We lost her Grandma to long battle with cancer the night she was with us. Karen was an amazing women that I could only dream of being half the lady she was...she always could bring a smile to your face. She will be missed..
The kids had their spring pictures at school, I can't believe how big they have gotten! They all are doing so well in school! so blessed lets just hope they continue to love it.
Kendal got participate in her first Extravaganza where she presented her science project on H20. She worked so hard researching this topic and presented it with pride and enthusiasm. She has such a passion for everything she does! It is almost to much because she gets really hard on herself when she does not succeed so we have to work on that:)
The girls both had art projects in the art show at the Pearson Lakes Art Center last weekend. This is always such an honor to have them on display over in Okoboji. Cora got a Judges Choice Award!! So she got to go on stage and receive a special honor!! She drew a special little Monster that showed her inner self to a T! I had a week off of school that consisted of working and staying home with 2 sick kiddos:( Cora got strep throat and Rogan had an earache.. but they picked 2 beautiful days to be sick so we got to play outside so it all worked out!

oh Cora and her funny faces!
Oh what a few weeks it has been! Between running around to dance, basketball, school, parent teacher conferences, meetings, dr appointments, helping watch other kids and trying to keep it all together I would never change a thing!! I know each day can be a little crazy but I just have to pinch myself when I realize how truly blessed I really am to have such an amazing family.  We are healthy and we have an amazing family.
