Happy Holidays!

We started our first holiday tradition at the Niemeier's. We got the book Elf on the shelf book from Santa. His name is Buddy and he watches over us every day and at night he flies back to Santa to tell him if we have been naughty or nice and what we want for Christmas. Every morning we have to look for Buddy because he is somewhere new:) but we can't touch him because then he loses his magical touch. It has been fun the past few mornings to look for Buddy! This was our only family picture of our weekend in Sioux City with the Cronin family. We had a great weekend, great weather and a ton of fun! Kendal has been doing the choke hold a lot lately not sure why but we do know Cora doesn't like it. The girls are growing soo fast! Kendal is completely independent and Cora wants to be:) She is our climber and has no fear! she has had a few tumbles this week, down the stairs, off the bed but she doesn't cry and goes back for more!

Where did you get the elf story? That sounds like a fun tradition! Kellen needs a Buddy to remind him that someone's watching too! :) Looks like you guys have had a lot of fun family get-togethers lately! Ours will be coming in just a few weeks - 5 in a row. Josh is so excited! :)

That is soooo cute!! What a neat book! I can't get over how big Miss Cora is getting and acting!!! She is a little dare devil!!! Maddie was into the choke hold as well... must be a phase they all go through!! Have a wonderful Christmas!!

I want a Buddy at our house! What a fun tradition! Where would Santa's helpers find their own Buddy?
