The Barbie Car is out!

The weather has finally been good the past few days so we got the Barbie Car out for the first time. It was interesting to say the least.  Kendal needs some practice driving, steering is kind of important and that is something she needs to figure out:) We had a wondeful weekend at home just hanging out!This Picture is just so darn cute of our little Cora Belle! She looks so inocent...don't let her fool you she is a little crazy girl. She deffinately gives us a run for our money. She makes it hard to discipline when all she does is smile at us and not even care that she is in trouble.  Today was another big day we let Cora play with playdough. We have been keeping it away from her b/c we knew she would try and eat it. She did really good today and I think she really felt like a big girl!The girls got these hats from Grandma Linda for Christams. Someone in Holstein made them for her. They are a hit wherever we go!

Daddy got a workout today chasing the girls in their car. It was soo much fun to watch them cruise all over the place.... I have a feeling by the end of the summer they will have it down and they will want to drive to the swimming pool on their own:)

Wisconsin Dells Spring Break

We spent the weekend at the Wisconsin Dells. After a long drive we got there Friday aftertoon. We had to hit the pool right away! Kendal loved to play over the water fountains...she said it tickled. She is a little goof ball! We spent all day Saturday at the waterpark or the amusement park. Cora is deffinately the Dare Devil in the Family. She went down the slides by herself.. her siser on the other hand didn't have a lot of interest. She just like to dance around in the water. Kendals favorite part about the weekend was having "Dippy Dots" ( The Dippin Dots ice cream:) Enjoy some of the pics of our mini vacation.

And we are spent. The girls did great while we were there but most of all in the long car ride.

Sick and Sick of Winter!

The Niemeier Girls have been sick since Thursday but we are finally on the mend. Fevers, coughs, runny noses and little sleep. Mom and Dad are very ready for winter to be done! So nothing really exciting going on just a lot of dressing up at home and alot of bugging an balling between the girls:)This pics says a lot, Kendal getting annoyed with her little sister at times. But at the end of the day they are pretty close and love playing with eachother.

This is Cora's new favorit hang out, yes on the window and she is constantly taking her pants off! "Pants on the Ground!" That is still snow you see out our window that I think will be there until probably May.(There is alot of Ruger's mess out there too that is going to take a lot to clean this spring:)

WOW! What a weekend.

We had one of the best weekends ever! It started Thursday night with the Whitmers, we went to the Darius Rucker and Rascal Flat concert in Sioux City. Darius AKA Hootie Rocked the house! Then Friday we had the Clausen Christmas..yes in Feb. this winter has been so crazy with the weather that this was the first weekend that worked. Mother Sharon still had the christmas decor up to make it feel like Christmas. The girls didn't care what month it was they just loved the presents. Well Cora loved the tissue paper and boxes:) Then we got to see Baby Max Breyfogle. Well my girls smothered him with Kisses. They are kind of aggresive lovers. We got to see Karlen play volleyball on Saturday. I do have to say she is a good little athlete and I am excited to watch her in high school:) Saturday night I had a lot of good laughs with Meghann, Angie, Katie and my fam. Needless to say we are a little tired:)We had pretty good seats we were just a few rows up on the side. so with the power of zoom I got some good pics.

Emily's Reception

This was our attempt at a Family pic at the wedding.  We had a good time and the girls loved the dance floor! It was great to see alot of people we have not seen in awhile and it was even more exciting to be there for Emily and Cory's exciting news of baby #2 on the way!! We knew that Kendal would love the dance floor but had no idea how much Cora would love it too:)This is how wore out Cora was:) She didn't move while I put her in her PJ's. She was spent, good thing we don't shake oru booty every weeekend:)

A day full of LOVE and SNOW..again:)

Kendal had her first Date night with her Daddy on Saturday! They went to a musical in town. Kendal was being a complete goofball making funny faces so we had some good laughs taking pics before their big night out on the town.  She was pretty sleepy b/c Friday night they spent the night with Joy, Chad's secretary.

The apple doesn't fall to far from the tree:) I am constantly cleaning and I think Cora has beein observing this b/c she has discovered a new enjoyment of helping her mamma keep everything clean.  I promise I am not forcing this labor on her:) She cracks me up! She is on busy girl so we are just puting it to good use:)

Winter Fun

What a past few weekends we have had! Last weekend was Winter games in Okoboji. We stayed at Village West and took the girls swimming. The Johnsons joined us for some swimming fun:) This winter has been a bit depressing with all of the snow and cold weathe it makes it kind of hard to get out of the house..so needless to say we have been playing alot of dress up and watching a lot of movies. This past weekend we went to Minneapolis with the Whitmer's so the Daddy's could get some Cont. Ed.  We stayed at the waterpark by the Mall of America and had a great time.  Meghann and I braved it and took the kids by ourselves to the Mall of AMerica one day.  All went well except for little Luke broke out in hives that gave us a scare. thank goodness we were close to a store with Benadryl.  We got to celebrate Meghann's big 31st B-day in the water park where we stayed. As close to a beach as we could get... someday:)  We spend the next few days swimming in the water park and shopping. This is our little Diva Kendal posing in one her dresses from her cousin Karlen.Pig tails fit Cora perfectly! She has horns this little girl is crazy! We call her monster and she makes a monster sound:) She climbs everything then she will throw and destruct anything that gets in her way. She keeps me on my toes!Cora and Daddy swimming at Village West. She is a little fish and loves the water. Addison and Kendal thought they were pretty cool since they could touch in the big water.  They are big girls now and they can do it by their big self!Fireworks at the Okoboji Winter games. We had a good spot by Arnold Park to watch them from the car.The girls like to sit in the ottoman with all of the blankets to watch their movies on the cold winter days!

This explains how everyone felt after a long day of playing adn shopping.  This was the bunk beds we had in our hotel room! The girls loved it! Kendal slept in the top bunk every night. She did great on the other hand mommy got a little nervous and woke up every time I heard her move!Getting ready to check out of the hotel to head home back to Iowa. What a fun weekend the girls were soo tired! I don't think I have seen Cora sit still for that long:)
