We are very ready for winter to be done! We did a road trip to Des Moines to get out of the house and visit The Ortners in the Des Moines. We got to watch Cale play basketball and Maura dance. We had a great weekend and made many memories.

We got to celebrate Emma's 13th birthday last weekend. Crazy to think she is a teenager already!

Rogan loves to fill up Ruger's food dish and help him eat, however there has been a few times he tries to sneak a few pieces for himself!
There is deffinately never a dull moment at our house lately!! I really should write down more stories. A few of the favorite...on the way home from Des Moines the girls are goofing around in the back of the van, Kendal laughs so hard starts coughing she pukes, Cora smells and sees the puke...she pukes Chad laughs farts it stinks.... Rogan cries...I try and clean up puke and want to cry and puke also!! And the kicker we were only in Mallard Iowa, an hour from home!!! It took me over an hour to clean the car out when we got home. not easy getting puke out of buckles.
So I am changing Rogan's pants. and he enjoys running around naked so he runs from me, Kendal needs me for something and then I hear Cora scream Rogan pooped on the floor and stepped in it and tries to wipe off and gets everywhere, she starts to gag..i just run up to the bathroom with her and tell Kendal to keep Rogan out of the poop. Thank God Ruger was outside! I get kids in shower and try to get them going because we need to be at school for the art show. Daddy texts me where are you....I write running a little behind explain later:)
Then Saturday we are getting ready for Emma's party and the girls wanted to get going so they went out to car while Rogan and got things together....I go out all doors locked and everyone out of car. Core locked the car after she put the present in....so I think I will go get spare keys... no keys.. and Daddy not home..I am alone with all kids, on call at the hospital and have no way to get into car....I call Daddy and he has someone get keys out. $20 later and 20 minutes later we head out the door.
This just happened last week.... there are many more but these were pretty good. Everyday is an adventure!!

Every day IS an adventure, and I so admire your humorous attitude towards it all. I remember when we met you and your girls in Storm Lake way back when and Brooke and I got in the car to head home and I turned to Brooke and I said, "Billi is such a great mom. She just has so much fun. Her kids are so lucky to have her."
