Clausen Family Vacation to San Diego

It has been way to long since I have posted on the blog!! We have been crazy busy! We took a family vacation to San Diego with all of the Clausens! We left December 27th and got home Jan 1st. We had an amazing time and enjoyed every minute of it, (even when I lost my new Iphone 5 in the Pacific Ocean:)

We flew out of Sioux Falls with Papa Joe and Mother Sharon, Bobbi, Buddy and Karlen. Chad and I were very thankful we had all of their help! The weather was not very pretty when we left Sioux Falls so we had to de ice the plane for about 45 minutes which Rogan was not to excited about then we almost missed our connecting flight in Denver but after a sprinting through the airport and sending Buddy ahead to stop the plane we made it! However, the Ortners (my sister Brenda) were not as lucky their flight got cancelled out of Des Moines so they got in a day late:( I took over 900 pictures so here is the readers Digest version of our 5 day vacation! We went to Sea World, Safari Park, the zoo, played on the beach and celebrated New Years on Catalina Island that over looked San Diego in an amazing home! 

 Our first stop was Point Loma. This was an amazing view of  San Diego and Mexico. It is the only national Park in San Diego.

Wow words can not explain the amazing experience we had, I just hope and pray that the kids remember. Rogan buddy you might be too little but mommy documented the experience pretty good for ya!
