We got our 15 foot christmas tree up last weekend and most of the decorations up. I was on call Thanksgiving day so we worked most of the day decorating. Then over the weekend we went to the move Tangled. It was awesome!! a must see, even Daddy liked it!
So last year we started the tradition of the elf on the shelf. Every year after Thanksgiving Santa brings a book and an elf to our house. We read the story give our elf a name, this year it is Hank:) so every day he watche over us and every night he goes back to Santa and tells him if the girl were naughty or nice. So this year when we get done reading the story, Kendal gets big tears running down her cheeks. She says " I don't want the elf, he is not real and you need to give him back to Santa because he scares me." Daddy and I look at each other not knowing what to say, as Cora is pulling on his legs and making him dance:) So we said that he is nice and he is Santas helper. He is still here but she is still not so sure about him.Saturday, December 4, 2010
