Grandpa Nemo turned 60!

This is Kendal after a busy day of playing with family and friends. what a goof ball! Grandpa Nemo turned 60 today and we were all able to get get together to celebrate! We had lunch in Holstein. What nice day out finally after a few cold days..who would think that in the middle of July. Kendal and Cora were show offs today at the party, Cora showing off her mid drift:) and Kendal being a little ham with her facial expressions!

Really mom, your letting her push me around in this! Rain, Rain go away, little Cora watched the rain come down Can we play in our Kitchen without dumping every single thing out mmmmm uh no mom! No rain so out for a bike ride we go, For being little girls they were sure a work out to pull! I have had the past few days off with the girls. It has been fun but I think at work I get more rest:) These two are buuuusssy. They are starting to play with each other more. This is good and bad b/c fighting has started... really Cora is only 9 months old but she holds her own pretty darn good. Kendal called her a bully today. It was a kind of cloudy rainy day so we stayed inside most of the time as you can see Kendal resorted to pushing her sister around in a doll stroller. Back to reality I go tomorrow. I think I could get used to this!

Relay for Life!

This past weekend we had the honor of doing relay for life in Ida Grove. Chad's sister Kristi is officially cancer free! She was diagnosed with cervical cancer Jan 23rd of 2008 and has gone through chemo and radiation therapy to fight her battle with cancer. This is our second year of participating in relay for life for Team Kristi. We had great weather for the evening and a lot of fun with family and friends. It is a very special and emotional event that raises a lot of money for a great cause. Chad's Grandma Niemeier is also a survivor of Breast Cancer that we are very thankful for! Kendal got a Dora Tattoo on her arm and she thought she was pretty cool:) What a good looking family!! Cora loving Grandpa up!! Kendal was a trooper!! She walked more then I did, she walked almos the entire time we were there. She loved going around and around with everyone. Cheers to our survivors to all that you have been through. You are amazing for winning the battle against cancer. We are soo proud of you and soo lucky we have you in our lives!! We love you Aunt Kristi and Grandma Niemeier and Uncle Dale your in our thoughts and Prayers!!!

To the Zoo we go!!

Last Friday July 10th we decided to take a trip to the Sioux Falls Zoo. Chad and I had the day off and it was a great sunny day. The girls had a great time, all Kendal talked about seeing was the giraffe...of course we could not find the giraffe, how do you miss a 20 foot animal...thank goodness she settled for the stuffed giraffe in the museum:) Then we got to meet Elizabeth, Jolin and Mary for lunch at the Red Lobster. We had a great time!! It was soo great to see you guys for lunch!!! Kendal's new thing is follow me guys, she has to add her sassy little touch with her hands on her hips:) Oh My Goodness where do I begin, She was a little excited when we got to the zoo!

9 Months old and BUSY!

Miss Cora Michelle is 9 months old today and into everything! She is crawling all over and climbing onto anything she can! Her new discovery is the toilet:) She has taken some tumbles down the stairs and bumped her head on many things! Already getting into the booze:) She loves being naked, she deffinately lets us have it when we try and get her dressed. She hates having anything on her head. She is doing good eating all kinds of things, she actually would rather feed herself then let us...mmmm do we have another strong willed independent little one on our hands! She doesn't have any teeth yet but her Big Sister got them when she was a little over 9 months so maybe this month some will poke through. She has been doing great sleeping through the night for a long time now, we are blessed! I am sure I will totally mess it up and she will be up tonight:)
