Big Girl Bed

We are on Night 3 of Cora attempting the Big Girl Bed with her sister. The first night they came out of bed 3 times before they settled in for the night. She stayed in bed all night the 1st night. The 2nd night was a different story as you see in the 2nd pic they slept together and at 2 AM they come skipping into our room clicking their toungues giggling like is the start of the day. So we shall see how night 3 goes. We have been working with Kendal to stop sucking her thumb b/c her front 2 teeth are starting to get really crooked.....start saving now for braces:(

7 Years

Seven years together and no itch:) Yesterday was our 7 year anniversary. We both worked but Chad suprised me with flowers:) Then we had dinner, played min golf , and enjoyed some ice cream. Joy (Chad's secertary) baby sat for us) It was a perfect day. Could not aks for anything more, we have been blessed in many ways!!

Summer Vacation To Omaha

Last weekend we took a family vacation to Omaha. We went to the Children's Museum on one day and the zoo the next. We had a great time. These are few of the many photos of everything we enjoyed! We had a great time! Our favorite was having lunch with Giraffe's they came up really close to us! The monkeys put on a good show for us too:) Kendal liked the elephants.

Hot Summer Days

The past few weeks have been really hot and seems like all of our activites have involved the out doors:) Last weekend was our towns big celebration, Farmer Apprciation Days. We had our float come all the way from Hosltein! Then after the parade they gave kids free rides!Chad even fits in, well he says the cars are getting smaller as the years go by:) Next year we may have to use some butter to get him out!Kendal got to ride in the parade on John's horse Josie that she has grown to fall in love with!

This is Harris Lake Park's future trouble makers and the firemens cruise in.On Tuesday I got to go play golf in Holstein with My mom and sisters in the Rally for the cure golf tourney. What a great time and fun had by all. If you get the chance you gotta do it!

Kendal Rides A Horse!

Kendal is a big Horse Lover! not really sure where that has come from but she dreams about them, has toy horses, stuffed animal horses and is always wanting to go ride horses. So a good friend of ours just south of Lake Park owns 21 horses and we have always brought the girls out there to see them let Kendal rider for her first time! She had a non stop grin on her face and is still talking about it! She did it all by her big self.

Where to I begin...

Our Computer has been down for the past few weeks so we have been out of commision. We have had a lot of firsts while we have been out of the blog world. We went fishing for the 1st time. Kendal caught her 1st bluegill while Cora had snacks.

We celebrated the Clausen Christmas over the 4th of July at Joni and Charlie's farm in Holstein.Kendal Striking a pose on the 4th all dressed up for the fireworks. Santa made a suprise visit out on the farm for Christmas. Kendal got a new rock star guitar and Cora got some Dora Books. Kendal was still a little unsure about Santa. Cora was just in shock and didn't know what to think.                   The BBQ went to in Lake Park had all kinds of games for the kids of course the ball toy was a hit.Cora has grown up soooo much in the past few weeks. She is talking more, it may be her own little language but her sister understands. But most exciting she has been going poopy and potty on the big girl potty!! Total suprise she went to do it once and now she loves to go!

Kendal had a busy week last week. She attended Kamp Kermit at the YMCA with Addison in the morning and swimming lessons in the afternoon with her buddies from Daycare. This is Lucas and Kendal they have been together since they were newborns!!!

This past weekend we had a little family vacation at a cabin just north of us in Round Lake, MN. We had an exciting time since the 1st night we survived a horrible storm. I have never been so scared and helpless in my life, A tornado coming our way with no basement in a cabin on the Lake....yikes. The girls slept through it and after many praryers I survived. After the storm passed we enjoyed much more fun in the sun. The Johnson Family came up for supper and some campfire fun on Monday night. Other then the bugs we has great time!

This is the view we had every night. Kendal has become a little photographer and loves taking pictures. She told me to get the camera out b/c the sun looked soo pretty on the lake...soo sweet.Gotta love the timer pictures

On Sunday we went to Spencer for the morning to celebrater Chloe's baptism. We got to see all of out cousins!
